Forum Background
As globalization advances and boundaries between countries fade away, Children need stimulating learning environments that provide the knowledge and skills they need to tackle the challenges of this century. With the rapid development of knowledge and technology, elementary education in China faces massive challenges, as well as new developments and unprecedented opportunities. Apparently, the reform of elementary education in China is imperative. As a result, child development and teacher education have progressed to be a multi-disciplinary issue. Obviously, to solve the problems that the children are facing today, it is necessary not only to consider the field of childhood education itself, but also to use the results of multidisciplinary research such as pedagogy, developmental psychology, behavioural genetics, educational technology, artificial intelligence and other multi-disciplinary research findings.
With the theme Child Development and Education, FCDE-2019 is a wonderful opportunity to share research, insights, techniques and teaching experiences and to form professional networks in this multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary field of childhood education.
In order to enhance the academic level of the forum, promote domestic and international exchanges and cooperation, we invite a group of experts in the field of child development and education at home and abroad to give keynote speeches. The forum will have sub-forums to provide opportunities for academics, frontline teachers and managers to speak and communicate with each other. The forum consists of keynote speech and sub-forum discussion. Individual contributions are accepted. The keynote speech is 40 minutes per person, and the forum speech is 15 minutes per person.
