About This Program

The university, education and teaching are confronted with the grounded reform under the attack of social power including economic globalization, knowledge economy and information technology. The state council has pressed The “Thirteenth Five-year Plan” for National Education Development, proposing that the undergraduate education and teaching should be deeply reformed, particularly, launching the inspirational, cooperative, participative and research-led “students-Centered” learning method and enhancing students’ personal development. Obviously, the university teaching has been transformed from “Teacher-Centered” to “Students-Centered”, which must have the reform opportunities encouraged by the national policy.

So, how to be “Students-Centered” in university teaching? How current university students learn? How the teaching can promote the learning experience of students? How the front-line teachers could be encouraged to discover in teaching innovation by the university? For discussing those above questions in depth, the “Teaching Innovation and Management Forum” has been jointly held by Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University and Southwest University from Oct 20th -21st, 2017. This forum takes the “reshape the undergraduate education, promote students’ experience” as the theme, inviting excellent practitioners, researches, executives and students to dialogue with each other and discuss the direction, challenges and breakthrough for current university teaching innovation together.

Registration

800 RMB per person, dining, accommodation and transportation should be self-covered. The onsite payment is acceptable. Please register on this page before October 18th (Wednesday).
