大赛介绍

一、   大赛背景

在知识经济时代,知识以空前的速度更新,要在这样的社会中立足,必须有强大的学习能力,并对新鲜事物保持好奇。这对传统的以传播知识为目的的大学教育提出了挑战,大学生不仅需要学习知识,更重要的是学会学习。西交利物浦大学(以下简称“西浦”)提出“研究导向型学习”的概念,希望通过这一学习模式,激发学生的学习兴趣,训练其批判性思维,提升其自主学习的能力和解决实际问题的能力。本次大赛的初衷是发掘和推广西浦学生中研究导向型学习的典型案例。

 

二、   大赛目标

1.  发掘优秀的研究导向型学习实践案例;

2.  在西浦学生中提倡和推广研究导向型学习,提升学生学习的效率和效果;

3.  向高教界和社会展示西浦的研究导向型学习实践,影响更大范围的学生学习效果;

 

三、   大赛主题

本大赛的主题是研究导向型学习,学生以自己过去的课堂学习经历为参赛内容,展示在学习中如何采用研究导向型的学习方式,并附加相关证明材料。

研究导向型学习是指从问题或现象出发,在老师的引导下,主动探索以获得与问题或现象相关的知识,并通过研究或小组合作整合知识解决问题或解释现象的学习过程。在这一过程中,学生们不仅学会了观察和提问,还学会了搜寻信息、整合知识、分析问题和解决问题,同时提升了他们学习、表达、合作、领导的素养和能力。

研究导向型学习对于老师来说有四个关键环节:1,向学生描绘所学课程知识体系对学生人生的意义和价值;2,以问题或现象为导向的对所学课程知识体系、关键技术、方法论、哲学基础的生动概括;3,根据课程安排有组织有步骤地针对相关知识体系选择能够引导学生有兴趣和深入探索的问题或现象引导学生学习;4,针对学生学习过程适时指导和帮助,以促进学生知识获得和整合运用,进而提升学生学习、研究和综合能力的全面提升。

研究导向型学习对于学生来说有五个关键环节:

1. 明晰本门课程学习对于人生的意义和价值;

2. 从实际问题和现象出发探索如何解决问题或解释现象;

3. 针对问题或现象广泛地搜集相关资料;

4. 通过深度研究或小组合作,形成问题解决方案或现象的理论解释;

5. 回顾学习过程以总结知识、能力和素养的收获。

 

四、   参赛对象

西浦在校本科学生(鼓励学生邀请该课程老师进行参赛指导)

 

五、   参赛方式

 

1. 报名:请学生以个人或团队形式于2020年3月31日23:59前报名。

2. 材料提交:报名成功后,请于2020年4月8日23:59前提交以下材料:   

一份体现研究导向型学习经历的作业(形式不限,由于有海选投票环节,建议优先选择便于展示的形式)。例如:

    - 大学课堂中完成的小组项目作业;

    - “世界公民素养”两周线上课程中完成的小组作业。

六、   评分与评委

本次大赛海选的形式为作品展,提交作品后大赛主办方将进行线上作品展,并于2020年4月15日至5月6日统一展出。海选分数包含评委函评与线上投票,前十名将进入总决赛。函评评委是来自西浦各院系和相关机构的老师,他们将从五个维度对申请材料进行打分:对所学课程价值的理解程度、内容与实际问题相结合的程度、搜集探索资料的程度、小组合作的程度、问题解决与能力提升的程度。

决赛将通过演讲的形式展示所提交的材料,由现场评委打分决定结果,结合函评分数与现场演讲评分将由高到低排序得出最终结果。

我们希望通过这次的大赛同学们能更深入地理解所学课程的价值,拥有将所学知识运用到解决实际问题的能力, 学会搜索并筛选有价值的资料,增强团队协作和人际交往能力,最重要的是学会去解决实际问题并且不断提升自己的能力。

防疫社区规划设计

Presently impacted by the Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia with certain infectivity, majority of the neighborhoods nationwide are under closed-off management and many services are temporarily closed which results in numerous inconveniences for residents such as difficulty of material purchasing and restricted activities. Also, there had been cases of non-contact infection due to the unventilated building design and neighborhood planning in SARS period. It seems that some of the current neighborhoods and communities lack of ability to prevent, adapt and respond flexibly to the emergent epidemic. Therefore, with the goal of sustainable development, the concept of resilient community is introduced. We would like to build a resilient community which could at some level efficiently prevent the epidemic infection and respond quickly and flexibly to the emergency after breaking out. We will collect information in groups from three aspects: architectural design, community planning and community operation. In addition, we will conduct a questionnaire survey to investigate the current community situation under the epidemic situation, how much citizens know about the resilient community and what are their urgent needs.

针对中学基础教育线上平台的匮乏、欠规范以及用户对电子化工作学习的适应能力的不足的情况的分析和建议反馈(

Leader: Liuyuan Jiang; Team members: Min Wu, Pinzhou Xie, Hao Ao, Zhenhe Gao; Advisor: Kevin Ottley. Our research aimed to explore the problems that students faced when studying online. We found that students were not prepared for online education. Most respondents felt uncomfortable because of the lack of the sense of interaction and looking at the screen for long time, and were distracted easily in class due to no supervision. Besides, unsatisfactory platforms also caused several problems, such as no video playback and broken systems. In addition, two interesting points were found. One was that this epidemic did not enable students who had not studied online to accept online education. Another one was that there were no significant differences between online education and offline education for most participants as to the learning effectiveness. We suggest that platforms suppliers should polish their software and teachers and students should overcome the problems above by trying to adopt our solutions.

中国民众对不确定信息处理的前置因素和改进实践----以2020武汉疫情为例

During the Wuhan epidemic, there are several uncertain information spreading, for example, Experts announced the shuanghuanglian oral liquid could suppress the virus of NCP on 31 January. However, people misunderstood the information as prevent the virus, which led people to rush for the shuanghuanglian oral liquid. It may cause discredit in experts, epidemic diffusion and rising prices. Those information have an impact on people's mental health, epidemic control and country's development. Our group decides to research citizen's attitudes and behaviour towards uncertain information and find out a plan to solve this social issue. Our vision of change is to increase people's discriminability of uncertain information by adjusting people's motivation, psychological and behavioral factors for spreading uncertain information, so as to reduce the spread of false news and thereby reduce the negative social impact caused by false news. This report will set out to discuss the vision of change by questionnaires.

中国全面推行分餐制的创新方案

Recently, a kind of novel coronavirus called 2019-nCov broke out, causing great panic all over the world. After investigating its way of transmission and prevention, researchers found novel coronavirus is mainly spread by droplets. As 2019-nCov features high infectivity, many people have begun to realize the importance of food hygiene. Therefore, we started with catering culture and hoped to help people reduce the possibility of infection through the promotion and implementation of separate meal system. In the research process, we found that the historical origin inherited from ancient times as well as the long-standing eating habits of big table rice have become the resistance to promote the separate meal system. Therefore, we analyzed the reasons for the failure of the separate meal system before, and made clear the significance of promoting the separate meal system and its role in the current situation. From the perspective of enterprises, restaurants, students, star publicity, technology and traditional promotion, combined with the status quo, put forward the solution of separate meals.

企业和个人如何解决武汉疫情中社会资源的整合和分配问题?

This academic report investigates and researches corporations and Individuals how to solve the problem of integration and distribution of social sesources in Wuhan epidemic. It support Chinese and even worldwide corporations and individuals improve their capabilities of emergency responses and better play their social roles in crisis.

信息时代对公民数字素养的要求

With the breakout of COVID-19 comes a sea of information and calls the public to differentiate these overwhelming information and keep objective and unbiased. This event sets us thinking about the request for digital literacy, name the ability to obtain, understand and utilize the online information properly. So we carried out the research to: firstly, to explore to which extent digitalization has changed the situation by comparing SARS in 2003 and COVID-19 in 2019. Secondly, to examine the significance of digital literacy in this information era. Thirdly, to examine the public’s digital literacy level. Finally, to seek for solutions which help improve digital literacy.

新冠疫情后人们饮食方式的变化?

2019-nCoV is a huge strike in China, one of the the main causes is unreasonable diet life style. For consideration of our nation and sustainable development, we decided to study on whether people would change their diet lifestyle about wildlife or not and how will they change. Based on the data collected through questionnaire, this research study aims to help develop sustainable diet lifestyle which satisfies the UN sustainable development goals, and it provides related suggestions to achieve the purpose of living in harmony with nature.
